End of an era.
Eight minutes past five on Saturday and a steam train passes through Rickmansworth. It is a picture future rail enthusiasts will cherish, for no more will the giant steam trains puff their way along the line. As from Saturday, the Marylebone to Nottingham steam train service has been withdrawn.
