Attractive fountains and waterfalls are now making a splash in Watford’s newly landscaped town centre pond.
The water features are part of a £12,000 facelift for the town’s popular landmark.
And unlike the previous feature – a space-age fountain dubbed “a monstrosity” by many townsfolk – the new design has been winning admiring glances this week.
Shoppers, and the pond’s family of ducks, seem to have taken to the new look.
Features include two small jet fountains and a rockery.
