Yes indeed it is the Chef Corner Cafe/Restaurant.
In the fifties my mate Malcolm and I used to frequent the Chef Corner most weekends. Across the little road from the Chef Corner was The ODEON CINEMA, and next to that on the left was a coffee house called THE MOCHA BAR, an Expresso Machine would frof up a cup of coffee, and it would be served in a glass cup and saucer.
For those of you who remember that time you will be aware of the American Forces Camp, stationed in Bushey, so as 15 year olds we soon found ourselves making friends with some of them and enjoying great times within there base.
I would be delighted to jog further memories if you are interested, my recall dates would be from 1947 up to 2002, I was born at Stanborough Park Hydro Garston Watford in the late Thirties, and was in the Kingswood Estate Gang in my childhood. I started school at Kingswood Kindergarten School Briar Road, and then to Leggatts way Boys. In the Harebreaks.
