An appeal for former school pupils who went to Francis Combe School in the 1960s has been sent to Nostalgia.
Ann Waine wrote: “I have been contacted by a BBC film director, Chris Boreham, asking for my assistance in tracing Francis Combe pupils who appeared in the 1962 documentary film, 'Our School'.
“He is intending to make a film as part of Reel History, a 20 part series to be shown on BBC, which will be hosted by Melvyn Bragg.
“Throughout the show they will be travelling around the country in the UK's last mobile cinema (a 1960s Bedford van with a 22 seat tiered cinema in the back), showing people footage of life as their parents, grandparents and even younger selves might recognise.
“In the episode focusing on school life in the 1960s, they hope to travel to Francis Combe to show this footage to people who were there at the time, however, in order to this they need to find some of the people who appeared in the film.”
