PUPILS of a Welling school spent two years transforming a respite hostel for children with learning difficulties.
The upper sixth-form pupils, from Bexley Grammar School, in Danson Lane, have built seats, repaired fencing and constructed wheelchair access for the children at the Falconwood Hostel, in The Green, Welling, to enjoy.
The Bexley Council-backed centre has more than 50 children and young people, aged between four and 18, on its books, who stay at the centre.
