IF YOU think of felt as fuzzy stuff to make stuffed animals from think again.

A touring exhibition by the Felt Maker Crafts Council, currently on show at Hall Place, in Bourne Road, Bexley, demonstrates felt can be anything you want it to be.

From stunning sculptures to wall-sized hangings to cutting-edge fashion accessories, the nationally acclaimed exhibition will change your opinion of felt forever.

The exhibitors are top international craftspeople and there is also a touchy-feely collection for children to handle.

The exhibition runs until March 17 and is open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 4.15pm Admission is free and there is free parking and access to the rest of Hall Place and the gardens.

To tie in with the exhibition, there is a series of half-term holiday workshops to learn how to make things from felt.

On February 21, sessions concentrate on toddlers aged three to five years.

There are two sessions, from 10am to 11am and 1pm to 2pm. Tickets cost £1.

On February 22 children aged six to 11 can learn how to use felt in fun ways from 10am until noon and 2pm to 4pm.

Tickets for this fun event cost £3.

Both workshops will be taken by felter Anne Hawkins.

On February 24 there is a day-long workshop for adults from 10am until 4pm working with Meike Dalal Laurensen. Tickets cost £20.
