Jail for pregnant teen's attacker

Rapist Ibrahim Mansouri Rapist Ibrahim Mansouri

A MAN who repeatedly raped and stabbed a pregnant teenager while visiting her flatmate has been jailed for four years and five months.

Ibrahim Mansouri, 26, of Bullsmoor Lane, Enfield, tried to ply the 19-year-old with vodka, and when she refused, saying she was pregnant, he grabbed her and tried to rape her, on December 2.

She fought him off but he went to the kitchen and returned with a knife which he held to her throat, cutting her neck while she tried to escape.

He also stabbed her in the thigh before raping her several times over a period of several hours throughout the night.

Mansouri had gained access to the victim’s house because he had visited his friend whom she shares a flat with.

The flatmate was not in but she allowed Mansouri inside to wait for him.

It was not until 8am the next morning that he returned and discovered what happened, calling the police immediately.

Mansouri was arrested the same day.

He was sentenced at Wood Green Crown Court on January 7, after being found guilty at an earlier hearing.

Detective Constable Stuart Simile said the woman had been subjected to “a terrifying ordeal”.

“Abusing the trust she placed in him he took advantage of the situation, using it as an opportunity to satisfy his own sexual desires," he said.

“The victim has shown great courage and strength in recounting the events of that night and I hope that the sentence Mansouri has received will help her move on with her life.”
