CELEBRITIES from the world of music, soaps and reality television experienced a different kind of star power on Wednesday, at a psychic reading in Radlett.
The event, at Destiny Rising, Battlers Green Farm, Common Lane, saw the celebs race from all over the country to have their tarots read by psychics.
As Big Brother 8 winner Brian Belo was led in, he quipped: "I want to have a six pack by Christmas.
"I forget what I'm doing myself half the time, so I hope they can fill me in.”
He added that he was enjoying life outside of the Big Brother house: “I do a lot of writing, and it still amazes me when people come up to me and say ‘hello’ and how kind they all are.
“I’m glad to be in Radlett today. It’s a beautiful, friendly area. I might have to find a lovely girlfriend here.”
TV presenter Giles Vickers Jones joked: "I’ll do the tarot reading – as long as they’re nice. I do not want to hear my wife's going to leave me for the neighbour or I'm going to die."
Destiny Rising psychic Denise Harrison said: "I grew up seeing and talking to spirits, but people just thought I was just having nightmares and talking to myself.
“I’ve now been tarot reading for five to six years.”
The event on Wednesday afternoon was held to promote Destiny Rising owner Dana Morgan's new psychic website, www.destinyrising.co.uk, which will launch in mid-October.
Model Jo-Emma Larvin, ex-girlfriend of boxer Joe Calzaghe, who is currently taking part in Strictly Come Dancing, also had a reading. Meanwhile ex-Atomic Kitten singer Liz McClarnon and Eastenders actress Rita Simmons are planning on visiting Destiny Rising, next Wednesday.
