Kim Nield was in oustanding form as Kings Langley Ladies defeated Bishop’s Stortford 4-3 in an exciting top-of-the-table clash.
Nield fired the home side in front on ten minutes in difficult conditions before doubling both her and Langley’s tally before the break.
The impressive Nield completed her hat-trick in the second half, finding the net before the previously unbeaten league leaders got one back.
Two more late goals from the away side made the score 3-3 to set up a tense finish with four minutes to play before Nield broke free to slot home the winner.
The joint league leaders meet again this Sunday in the return fixture.
