Watford Jogger Caroline Whittaker secured victory in New Zealand at the World Aquathlon Championships.

Whittaker took top spot in her age group having previously finished second in her category in the Triathlon Championships at the same event.

The Joggers held their Autumn Challenge on Sunday, a five mile run through Cassiobury Park and Whippendell Woods.

Watford missed out on the men’s team prize by three points to a strong Harpenden Arrows side. Paul Warrell (33.05) was the first Jogger home and fifth overall while Rob Gaddie (34.03), Robin Tremaine (35.27) and Mark Studdart (35.59) all produced good times.

Watford Joggers are a sociable running club meeting in pleasant surroundings. For details log onto www.watfordjoggers.org.uk.
