Watford striker Troy Deeney has been selected in the Championship team of the week after scoring twice against Barnsley.
The 24-year-old, who made his 100th appearance for the Hornets at the weekend, netted a brace as Gianfranco Zola's side claimed a 4-1 victory.
Deeney has scored six goals in his last five games and helped Watford remain unbeaten throughout November.
Deeney will be looking to continue his good form as the Hornets welcome Hull City to Vicarage Road on Saturday.
Team of the Week: Paul Robinson (Blackburn): Joel Ward (Crystal Palace), Zak Whitbread (Leicester), Paul McShane (Hull), Aaron Cresswell (Ipswich): Bjorn Sigurdarson (Wolves), Michael Tonge (Leeds), Stephen Quinn (Hull), Thomas Ince (Blackpool): Troy Deeney (Watford), Kevin Doyle (Wolves)

Another player who is answering his critics is a certain Mr Yeates. I have always been his biggest fan and went as far as to buy a shirt when he arrived. I do hope there is enough hats and humble pie to go around for all concerned. I once called someone a moron for slating him, he certainly was a moron of the highest degree. I would like to think that those who knocked him would now be big enough to admit that they were wrong.
He's always been talented it has just taken someone like Zola to nurture this talent. His goal against Wednesday was surely one of the best we'll see this season. A lot of fans have much grovelling to do and I am proud as punch of him as it backs up my belief that I am always right.
So proud of not only our results but how we are playing at the moment, to call us the form team in the UK is not too far-fetched in my opinion.
Zola is a hero and the Pozo's are saviours. Even if we dont go up this season the foundations being set now are strong enough to get us back to the glory years.
Have NEVER been as excited and proud to be a hornet as I am now. If I was from Hull Id be worried, seriously worried.

However he has turned it round recently and I applaud him for his determination to improve!
However that doesn't make his critics at the time morons it just makes them now appreciative that the player has listened and decided to act on it!
Well done to Zola and all the lads for there recent form and long will it continue!
If we do manage to go up then I'm more optimistic then before as the bottom six or seven teams in the premiership are poor compared to previous years!

Congratulations to Troy. We couldn't really have asked for anymore from him so far this season. He's answering back his critics where it counts (on the pitch) and doing a bloody good job of it. Am sure there are some who would be much happier if he was still inside and we were bottom of the table.

I am not a Yeats fan or a Doyley fan that is my opinion, based on watching them play . I can see both have made an improvement under GFZ and I applaud that and wish them both well, and get behind them and the team.
As for Troy he deserves his inclusion in the team of the week, his work rate and finishing are a credit to him.
This team is so exiting that allmost any of the players could make it how often could we have said that in the past. COYH

Sign of a successful side is everyone plays like winners.
Doyley - on live radio commentaries it is clear this season he is going in where it matters and gets to the ball first.
Deeney - bought as replacement for Kabba and plays like Rooney. No need to lock up your grannies though.

I am told the Yorkshire Ripper was quite a nifty midfielder in his day. Pity he's a bit too old for football now, otherwise Watford could have signed him.

Deeney still has a rather serious criminal record, though, doesn't he?

Given the choice would I spend half an hour in the company of a lad who's not had the easiest start in life and has screwed up a bit and done some damage and paid for his mistakes but shows a determination to be a better person and professional. Or would I prefer to hang out with a bored fool who knows little about and cares little for football, who has nothing else to do than post judgmental and antagonistic messages on a website for WFC fans, constantly trying to look clever..?

Tricky eh? Roy, you're a dullard. I know your wife is irritated by you, but get off your computer and go and be good to someone.
