Ashley Wade wins Little Hay Golf Club's December medal

Little Hay golfer Ashley Wade battled the icy conditions to claim top spot in the Men’s December Medal Division One.

Wade recorded four under par to secure first place ahead of John Leahy in second and Andy Lerpeniere in third.

In Division Two, Glen Mason came out on top with Rolf Stammeijer narrowly finishing as the runner-up. Steven Crowhurst rounded off the top three.

Lance Redler reached the end of his year as captain of the seniors’ section at the annual pre-Christmas lunch.

Among the successes he announced was the raising of £2,267 for Ian Rennie Grove House Hospice Care. Redler is succeeded as captain by Phil Joslin and his vice-captain will be Paul Thompson.
