Watford have around 600 tickets remaining for sale ahead of the Hornets’ FA Cup Third Round tie with Manchester City at The Etihad Stadium on Saturday, January 5.
From 9am this morning tickets are going on sale with a one-per-person rule to anyone on the club’s ticketing database.
The Hornets were allocated 6,000 tickets for the clash with Roberto Mancini’s side and season ticket holders quickly snapped up tickets first, followed by regular match buyers.
Tickets now only remain in the Lower Tier of the stand and they’re going on sale to anyone with a booking history with the club.
Watford supporters may only assign one ticket to each Fan ID number.Gianfranco Zola said: “It would be great to sell out the allocation. The interest in this game shows a lot about how important the match is for the supporters.
“I think it will be a fantastic day of football for us because we are playing the champions of England and we go there with nothing to lose. So with a big crowd behind us we will have a great day anyway.”
Supporters can book their seat by phoning the dedicated hotline on 0844 248 5141. Any other queries can be directed to the Watford’s own Ticket Office on 0844 856 1881. Database customers can also purchase online at the club’s website watfordfc.com.
Seats are priced at £15 for adults, £10 for Over-65s and 16 to 21 years, with Under-16s priced at £1.

Appreciate ticket allocation but would be nice to have had more tickets so everyone can go when parts of the ground will be empty.

Watford administered the distribution as fairly as they could, I don’t see how they could have done it any fairer. I only managed to get tickets this morning as I also live in Manchester. I have been to more than 5 away games but bought my tickets on the gate so no record this season for buying through the club. Tough luck on me, but so be it, it’s not the clubs fault. Anyway rang up this morning, only queued for 2 minutes and got my tickets.
Been a fan since 1977 ! a season ticket holder for 10 years until my work commitments prevented renewal. Called yesterday and gave fan ID only to be told that I HAD to buy Charlton AND Forest tickets to get a Man City ticket. I explained that I could only get a Charlton ticket because I'm getting married on the 22nd !..... only to be told tough !! Finally managed to speak to someone with sense this morning and get a ticket. NOT SURE their ticket strategy was too clever for this game !! All they are doing are alienating their long term fans ... I fully intend to go to more games when work lets me ... I might even be able to buy a season ticket again at some point ! ... V unhappy with the club on this occasion !

Alf.., I agree with the season ticket and 5 game decision completely ! It's the you MUST buy the Forest AND Charlton ticket hurdle I take exception too. They should have opened it up then to everyone on the database with a fan ID ! Anyway, enough ... Onwards and upwards, really looking forward to the game up there
They did open it up to fans on the database, that's how I got mine this morning.

Having sold out our allocation so quickly, it would make sense for Man City to quickly make available another couple of thousand or so tickets to WFC. Totally unnecessary to use more seats to segregate fans than the total away contingent.
