Shame City won't let us have any more bearing in mind that their end will probably be half empty. Still I suppose they don't need any extra revenue.

What a great day this is going to be, I'm very excited now, who says the cup has lost its romance! We could have done with some more tickets tho, I thinks it's a little harsh that we got as few as 6000

Well, sad to say it didn't happen to me. Sad that someone who hasn't been to a game for 5 years, might have got tickets before me, but then so be it. Cheered myself up and have bought some tickets for the Brighton game. Have got 3 friends who said it was really easy to get tickets with them in the Man City section. I declined, it just isn't the same. Hope all you fellow Hornets have a good time.I'll be listening to you all on the radio.

WFC should ask for more tickets. They would sell at least another 1000 easy.

No we shouldn't ask for anymore tickets. Most away games we get 500-600 fans, maybe the odd game we get about 1000 odd. So where have the other 5,500 'fans' come from? Most seem to be demanding tickets yet havent been to a game in yonks but seem to think they should be entitled. Big games like this should be a reward for those who attend the regular league game week in week out home and away. Not the plastic fans who only want to see a big team play.

Agree with you on some points even home crowds are pathetic at the moment they have got to this out somehow the team are doing here bit on the pitch. But the majority of fans who brought tickets were season ticket holders anyway and the rest had to have been to 5 home or away games obviously some people might have slipped trough the net and got them even though not entitled. But we have quite alot of half season tickets brought so i think from charlton onwards crowds will be up.Also my city ticket came today.

sorry for bad grammer above i have just woke up lol basically saying we should have bigger crowds as the team are playing well so we should do our bit now.

This is so short sited. I've been to around 10 games this season and managed to get a City ticket. I for one would be over the moon if we had an allocation of 10, 000 and brought lots of so called "plastic" fans. There is a chance that some fans might re-kindle their passion for supporting OUR team in person and start attending more games. In business terms this event should be regarded as a penetration driver to push our future attendance. We can't afford to be elitist. Come on you Orns and come back you Ornet fans. You are very welcome at the Vic.

We took an estimated 10,000 to Old Trafford for the 3rd round FA Cup tie in 1968. What a day that was against Best, Charlton, Law etc....I nearly wet myself when we went 1-0 up through Scullion but I was only 6 years old!!

Holy crap...the surge forward when UTD equalised is a pretty good argument against standing!
