Watford Joggers sent an impressive 24 runners to round three of the Sunday Cross Country League.

Caroline Whittaker fared best in eighth place with a time of 39.44 around the tough hilly course.

Kate Pickard came 25th in a time of 43.50 and Clare Bonnick was 46th in 47.12. Robert Gaddie clocked a time of 36.14 for 32nd spot and Mark Studdart was 63rd after finishing in 38.21.

Three Joggers took in three different park runs, all over 5k, on Sunday.

The much raced Studdart clocked 19.33 at the St Albans parkrun, Gail Winter recorded 21.59 at the Gunnersbury in South Ealing while James Gamble completed the Slough Black Park in 22.09.
