Pair take lead in Little Hay Golf Club winter league

The second round of the Winter League was a success for a team of two Little Hay Golf Club juniors.
Jamie McIvor and Tom Butler scored a commanding 49 stableford points which is the best of any score so far. Added to their first round of 45 points this put them firmly in the lead of the competition.
Lying second, four points behind are Glen Mason and Steve Rutherford while third place is taken by Rolf and Clare Stammeijer. Meanwhile, the senior men and ladies held their annual joint "Turkey Shoot" competition.
The winners were the team of Pauline Manning, Fred Evans and Eric Binns with a nett 63. Second place went to Dorcas Kindinger, Hilary Fisher, Graham Cracknell and Chris Jarman with 64 and third were Jan Boyling, Esther Smith, Mike Mason and Phil Joslin with 65.
