Watford striker Steve Beleck makes loan move to Stevenage

Steve Beleck has become the third player to leave Vicarage Road on loan today and will spend the rest of the campaign at Stevenage.

The striker, who arrived on a season-long loan from Udinese this season, has been unable to force his way ahead of Troy Deeney, Fernando Forestieri, Alex Geijo and Matej Vydra in the Hornets attacking pecking order and it is no surprise that he has moved elsewhere as Gianfranco Zola trims his sizeable squad.

The 19-year-old has been limited to one start and five substitute appearances this season and joins Adam Thompson and Stephen McGinn in making loan moves after they linked up with Barnet and Shrewsbury Town respectively.

Although it is not possible to loan a loan player between domestic clubs, it is permissible with 'international transfers'. For this to happen, the parent club must given permission and the move must be from transfer window to transfer window.

Has all the attributes to be really successful there.

He is young but if he does not fire in league 1 his with at any of the pozzo empire.

Hope for us in the future and for him that he succeeds

Wow! Didn't realise we could loan out loan players! Suppose its the whole FIFA international loans being counted as permanent transfers thing. Stevenage need a good forward as they have dropped off the playoffs despite good early season results. Good signing for them and good business for us!

Jan & Feb playing for Stevenage in the cold in front of a handful of spectators will show what he's really made of. At least he'll be playing in front of 4 stands every week !

No real supprise and not really a grey area, all that happens realistically is that you fax the paperwork to Udinese saying we are terminating the loan but tell them Stevenage are willing to take him on! Then they sort the rest out and player stays local....job done!
International regulations state that a player can play for upto 3 different sides in a season and two in the same country!
