Adam Thompson has returned to Watford after playing just one match on loan at Barnet due to injury.

The Northern Ireland international signed for Barnet on January 4 and made his debut the following day as a second half substitute in the 2-0 win over Bradford City.

But Thompson suffered a dislocated and fractured shoulder in training early last week, ending his temporary stay with the Bees.

Another defender injured - bad news indeed. I'm not one for wrapping the youngsters in cottonwool but I think he should have been recalled as soon as Neuton was injured, without question we would have done for a goalkeeper and now we have zero options as the bench plainly showed on Saturday.
I just hope Hall, Hoban etc. will be back for Huddersfield otherwise we desperately need emergency cover.
