Jean Alain-Fanchone has had his loan agreement at Watford cancelled by mutual consent so he can join French side Nimes Olympique.

Fanchone joined Watford on loan from Udinese at the start of the season but made just one start for the Championship club, when he impressed against Blackburn Rovers.

Watford agreed to cancel the 24-year-old's loan agreement and he has joined the French second division side until the end of the season.

Strange how the club don't officially announce player movements like this and confirmation is only made by the loanee's new loan club.

Does Watford FC have a PR office? Are they awake?

I expect they have confidentiality agreements in place with everyone they deal with, to avoid anyone outside knowing of their dealings which could affect what they pay - inter family clubs or not, as the payer has to be have a "new contract".

I see that they could be quicker to announce when deals are done.

I have been to the south of France and it's not a patch on Occupation Road on a windswept evening in January. The bloke must be insane!

Never heard of a club loaning a loan player before this season.

I had no idea you could on loan a loaner!

Udinese have merely recalled the player and loaned him to Nimes.

On another topic - our favourite journalist Martin Samuels must be having conscience pangs ( silly me - can't happen in that profession).

He has said that given the QPR and West Ham penalties, it would be grossly unfair if Watford got a points deduction for Baz's financial 'mishap'.

Can’t believe people still don’t get the rules!

We have not loaned a loanee nor have Udinese recalled him!

He counts a permanent transfer under UEFA rules on international loans, therefore we can loan him to whoever we like providing it is window to window….. with the permission of Udinese can’t see that being a problem as they own both clubs.

SIMPLES!

Best and fairest way gives Jean a chance of first team soccer. Its certain more players will be placed in order for Pozzo progression with players. You bet your bottom dollar there is plenty of activity among our camp. But in order for Gianfranco to have best chance feel we have to reduce the squad. Our owners do not mess about giving out long contracts to sound investment players as shown.......As for speculation over Vydra i am certain we will hold on to him for now . He clearly will end up way higher valued in the future but for now he would be way under value if greedy big clubs thought we was an easy touch as in the past they have done so.

One less peripheral player for GFZ to worry about.

Helps the guys development if he can get a game and some warmth...good luck to him.

Hope sordell has got goals out of his system before we play them

Saw him play at Blackburn and thought he had quite a good game. Pity there weren't more opportunities for him to show his potential
