I could be incorrect but if this photo is from when the Watford train line was opened that's my scarf that Elton is holding up. What a claim to fame!!!

The one I'd love to get is the one with Barnes taking the "explosion" free kick. I think it was at White Hart Lane in1983 and there are about 7 Watford players in the picture all running away from the ball as Barnes is about to strike it. Anyone know where I could get my hands on this?

Only we could have a "great moment" showing the scoreboard reading Everton 1 Watford 0 at half time in the Cup Final

Some great moments and memories.
Just one quibble. How about a picture from the Furphy era, too.

On a personal note my favourite picture is of Alan Smart. Only been following the boys for 4 years up to then and I can still remember the noise of 40,000 golden boys going mental as he walloped it into the corner to send us into the Premiership for the first time.
Total bonkers.....

What a moment. Everyone goes on about Nicky Wright's goal - understandably - but Smart's was a truly great finish from a lovely Kennedy cross. The relief for the Watford fans was like nothing I've ever known before. I hugged a total stranger behind me who was just shouting repeatedly 'we've done it, we've done it!'

Will never forget smarts goal. What made it better was that it was right in front of us. When it went in, we all knew we had it won! I went to the last 15 or so games that season ax we stormed into 6th place. Best ever finish to a season for me.
