Bobbi Wyatt heads medal haul from Italian job for Watford Freestyle’s elite fighting squad

Kickboxers from Watford Freestyle’s elite fighting squad claimed several medals at the Golden Glove European Cup in Italy.

The event, held in Mareno di Piave, saw four members of the Watford squad travel and they produced a number of impressive performances.

Bobbi Wyatt, nine, claimed overall victory in her category to be crowned European champion. She also received a pair of golden gloves in recognition of her achievement.

Sixteen-year-old Shannon Ryan narrowly missed out on top spot on two occasions but she returned with two silver medals and a bronze.

Stevie Snadden, 13, also secured two silver medals, while Thomas Hunter’s efforts in his category were rewarded with bronze.
