Hole in one for 'shock' for Little Hay golf club member Eleanor Stammeijer

Little Hay golf club member Eleanor Stammeijer admitted she was left “speechless” after scoring her maiden hole in one.
The 16-year-old, who has only been playing the sport for two years, achieved the feat on the 137-yard 14th hole.
She said: “The ball bounced twice and then after a short roll it just dropped into the hole. I felt in complete shock and was speechless.
“It was only because of the cheers from my playing partners and from golfers on the nearby 15th tee, that I realised what I had done.”
