Saracens played at Allianz Park for the very first time yesterday as they beat Cardiff Blues 19-11 in the LV=Cup.

The game was a 'test event' - with only a limited number of tickets available - before the official opening on February 16 when the Men in Black host Exeter Chiefs in the league.

Will the Watford Observer be giving us all the news from Barnet Football Club or is it now called Thw Watford and Barnet Observer?

Perhaps show more photos and support for our local football team than this lot! Who now cares about the plastics?

I agree. Who cares? Please stop clogging the website up with stories about some team from Barnet. This is the WATFORD Observer.

Anyone that is interested can no doubt get this information from the Barnet press or other websites.

Guys, guys...this is me commenting on the same article as it appears in the Barnet Times Series website.

Pretty obvious that Watford Observer and Barnet Times Series are sharing their articles so please chill out.

With that covered, I do hope RedRenault is keeping a very close, passive-aggressive, eye on things! ;)

I can understand the Watford supporters being bitter, after all we've got an East Stand!

As for RedRenault, he's probably still clearing up the debris from an afternoon fighting off all the people trying to park in his living room.

Yep thats exactly what it is. Jealous of a bunch of pathetic egg chasers who now play in a stadium which looks like a Meccano set.
I'll stick to a three-sided ground thanks. At least it has supporters inside, something this dump will not.
Good riddance egg chasers...

Ah, football supporters, always so classy!

Looks like we're heading for sold out for the rest of the season, and not paying WFC £50,000 each game for the use of their disintegrating bombsite. Happy days!

Never mind WFC, I daresay Steve Palmer will put his hand in his pocket to make up the shortfall. I do feel sorry for the people who run the chippy on Vicarage Road though, it was always busy on a match day.

Enjoy your new east stand Steve. Don't hold your breath though.
