Watford are set to receive £225,000 from the sale of Danny Graham to Sunderland, the Watford Observer understands.
The Hornets agreed a 15 per cent sell-on clause when Graham left the club to join Swansea City in 2011 - with the Golden Boys receiving 15 per cent on any profit above the £3.5m the Swans paid for the striker.
Graham, who scored 41 goals in 98 games for Watford, has today joined Sunderland in a £5m move, which will result in the Hornets landing £225,000.

Woohoo, let's use this money to buy L*ton Town and we can use them as our feeder club!

Still would like to see the signings that were promised before Christmass - Abdi, Pudil, Vydra if nothing more than to stop papers and commentators saying we only have loan players. Also to confirm that we are not just a feeder club for Udinese

Meanwhile back at Watford, no transfer news....
....zzzzzzzzz.
The 18-year-old Hungarian striker is highly-rated at the Serie A club and is being chased by a host of clubs across the continent.
Otto Novothny, the player's father, believes staying at Napoli is the most likely scenario but a switch to work with Hornets boss - and former Napoli star - Gianfranco Zola cannot be ruled out.
"It seems that Soma will play in the under-age team at Napoli but there is a chance that he will go to another team on loan - maybe in Serie A or Serie B," he told Hungarian daily Kisalfold.
"But it is also possible that my son will go to another country. Hoffenheim are interested in him as well as FC Zurich and Dnipro (Dnipropetrovsk).
"But his former coach at Napoli works as Zola's assistant at Watford and he'd like Soma to sign there on loan."

Once (If) he plays there for Watford his value will shoot up. Alteratively the Pozzos may ship him back to Udinese, particularly if they qualify for the Champs League.
Getting the feeling Vydra will stay on loan until end of this season and only sign a permanent deal if we are promoted

Looking on the bright side of no deals in, we haven't lost anybody either that we didn't want to. I would expect a few more to go out on loan next week.
What we have is good enough to give this a **** good go, and still fancy us to push for those auto places.
Lets get behind the boys on Saturday.

Firstly DG to Sunderland, now that is 'all that is wrong with the modern game', obviously all about the money because we all know he is a mad Newcastle fan. If I had ever been good enough to turn pro and was asked to play for LTFC I would wipe my backside on the contract rather than pull on the shirt. Wrong wrong wrong Danny, gone down in my estimations big time.

Funny, how times have changed. Last year we would be asking for the money to buy new players.
