Watford striker Matej Vydra has come third in the Czech Republic Football Association’s ‘Czech Talent of the Year’ award 2012.
The 20 year-old striker, on-loan from Udinese, finished behind Chelsea’s young defender Tomas Kalas – currently on-loan at Vitesse, and runner-up Martin Pospisil.
Vydra has enjoyed something of a breakthrough in 2012, excelling on-loan at Vicarage Road with 19 goals from 17 league starts for the Hornets and also making his full debut for the senior Czech Republic side against Denmark in August.
The Chotebor-born forward had previously endured a tough start to 2012 as injury whilst on-loan at Belgian club FC Brugge had ruined his time with the club.
Previous winners of the award include Petr Cech, Milan Baros and Tomas Rosicky.

Don't beleive it, he's rubbish. As slow as a cart horse and couldn't hit a barn door from ten paces. Honestly, don't bother bidding for him in the Summer.

Wouldn't surprise me if he was on the bench on Friday. Greatest talent since Blisset/Barnes

I think he would come top of the Watford Talent of the Year Poll!!!
I hope that he is able to play on Friday night, the biggest 6 pointer of the season so far.
I am sure we will find out in a few months time who is player of the season.

I am sure the Pozzo's know exactly what they're doing when it comes to all the loan players. At present they are all probably on reasonable wages as they were only second string players in Italy. As soon as they sign for Watford the player's agents will naturally want to get more money for their player, so whilst the pozzo's call the shots as to which team they play for there is no commercial sense in changing things, although it would shut up Steve Claridge !!
