Team spirit is the real winner as we move up the table.

That's about right. Abdi is the most influential player we have but Hoban took it on the night.

Don't think we'll go up the table much more though - just a couple of places.

id settle for finishing just the one place higher; Interesting that udinese paid £3,400,000 for Vydra not supprised no bids were even considered if they were only around that figure. 15 goals in the premiership should make him worth 15 mill +. Abdi at 8 mill. However much is this squad worth ????. Seen some great players over the years at watford but I honestly think vydra is better than mighty MO and our Luther. Abdi from what ive seen is the best we have ever had in midfield, even better than Roger Joslyn. When I think of Ian Bolton and Steve Terry wonder if we could do with them occassionally and forresteri is so similar to Nigel C in many ways, frustrating but brilliant at times. Lastly Lloyd who is a legend and will remain so in my eyes. How hes changed this season speaks volumes for this man a pros, pro in every way. Still think we should have taken another keeper last summer as an untested Bond is a risk and alluminium is a little dodgy at times although much prefered to Loach, Oh how baz must regret spurs not making good on there rumoured bid 18 months ago.Anyone any ideas on what valuation chelsea would put on Chalobah anything around 4 mill and i would be great value at his age.

Hoban for me. Abdi didn't get hold of the ball in second half and does fade a bit in all our games. But like many on here I believe he's our best player. Make him captain now and let's get him settled. Him and Chalobah make it the most creative midfield I have ever seen at Watford (since 92). Still my favourite midfielder at Watford was Allan Nielson. Far more class than Rambo.

Just goes to show that it is all about a team of players and not just Vydra, who will probably be the player of the season. Rock on Tommie. In an ideal world the Man of the Match Honours will be shared around. Just hpoing for a poor result for Hull this week and let's go for at least second place. We can do it on our own but nice if results go our way as they did this weekend.

I agree Abdi is a fantastic player but Allan Nielsen, Graham Taylor's £2.5m buy from Spurs was as good.

2% of votes is 12 not 9, but who's counting?

His got a long way to go before he is like Scully! Yes, frustrating at times, exciting and I believe come next season with a few more games he just might be the next Scully!

Tommie was my MOM too. He played like a skipper. Off key but where is the HT entertainment we used to get? Back in late 80's there was a "Marks,Steady,Go" one on one, it gave kids to play on the halllowed Vic pitch and it could Wow or Aaargh the crowd. Oh mount that Rookery clock while you're at it! Put Watford Observer on it. Sells more Tells more Always at the top!

FF needs to get into the gym and push some weights. He get's bundled off the ball too easily. Also, very different player to Nigel Callaghan, haven't seen FF whipping in quality crosses much yet.
