They may as well name the starting eleven and be done with it.

If Watfords player of the year is based on the most improved player , LLoyd will walk it.

Player of the season is going to be an interesting one this year. Even harder still young player of the season.

If we get promoted it should be joint first for every player that's played in 15 or more matches during the course of the season.

For me it has been the team performances that have made the difference this season. We are playing as a single unit now rather than disjointed factions.

Some Daily Mail bloke and a Crystal Palace big mouth seem to keep harping on about it being down to a whole bunch of loanees but according to the Football League we have only one loan player so don't know what that's all about?

Unfortunately we can't fit all their names on one trophy...we will still have to decide one winner.

No problem, just order a bigger trophy from Italy.

I think you could pick at least 6 and most would be happy with the result, however if I really had to pick only one right now I think my personal choice would go to Abdi.

Agree 100%. The most influential player we have, consistent, cements the team.

with all the imported loanees etc this season how brilliant is it that homegrown Lloyd Doyley is getting in the team of the week...

Given that around seven different managers has all (if sometimes eventually) recognised Lloyd for the top pro that he is, I wonder if any clubs have ever tried to buy him. I've never heard of any, if so. Doyley - a top man and a top player. Never going to be player of the year, but a true, genuine bloke who is actually a pretty decent player, and man marking one of the best there is in this division. I'm a bit surprised that Almunia is keeper of the week, if anything.

Goal of the season so far?

It would still be Vydra at Palace for me. I know most people would go for the 4th v. Huddersfield.

Yeates volley v Sheffield Wednesday, got to say I think all goals are playing for second place compared to the Huddersfield fourth ...

Any future goal that beats that will have to be a worldy!!!!

Nice one. A combative player to admire who inspirational Zola has kept faith with as he always earns his dollar. Nice to have the recognition.
