Nigel Clough believes “there was nothing in” Saturday’s game between Watford and Derby County and claimed not doing the basics well enough was what cost his team.
The Rams’ manager praised his team’s work rate and performance at Vicarage Road but was left ruing what he described as their “Achilles heel” of not being able to defend corners.
