Chelsea and England's rising star Nathaniel Chalobah is showing why he is so highly rated during his loan spell at Watford.

The 18-year-old this week sat down with the Watford Observer's Frank Smith at the Hornets' London Colney training base to discuss his time at Vicarage Road and the recent reports tipping him to replace Blues legend Frank Lampard at Stamford Bridge.

In part two of our interview with Chalobah, the cultured midfielder talks about Watford's promotion push and Friday's televised game with Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux.

Can't wait to see this guy when he's 5 years older. Astonishing how calm on the ball he is at 18 and even when he was 17. possibly the next youngster to go to a world cup?

No chance of a quick transferdeal then, I guess ? Would love to see him at Vicarage Road for a looooooooooooooooooo
ng time.
Let´s hope he can stay at least for the next season in the Prem as it would be good for him.

Good for him if he is the next Frank Lampard that he does not have Harry Redknapp as his uncle.

As long as Watford get promoted, he'd be much better staying with us. Chelsea will always pay £30m+ to bring in a superstar, then he'll be in the reserves or a sub at best. However, if loadsa money is he's motivation, we don't stand a chance.

Following a season out on loan at a Championship side, these guys usually go out to a lower Premiership club...hmmm, who might that be next season? It might save him having to relocate!

Seems a well grounded young fella. Best of luck to him. Sean Murray take note.

Over confident sometimes.. The only bad part of his game that I can see.. All else, very good.. It will be sad to see him go back when he does...COYH

The lad is only just 18 & is still learning his trade. He is going to be a fantastic footballer. Personally I don't have a problem with his confidence, the major problem with most English players is not having any confidence on the ball & treat it like a hot potato. That is the reason decent teams in tournament situations make our national team look second rate.
Off the pitch he appears to be a very level headed young man who I hope we can keep hold of for another season. There is absolutely no chance of a permanent transfer as Chelsea hold him in VERY high regard.

Look at the foreign players for an example, the money hasn't distracted them. Once youv'e lost your hunger it's very hard to get it back. Rodgers says Sterlings legs aren't right.....rubbish, it's £30,000 a week that's sapped his zip.
