Turner Trophies Challenge Cup Round Three
St Josephs progressed into the fourth round with a comprehensive 8-1 home victory against Woodlands United.
There were seven different scorers for the hosts. Ben Hammond netted a brace, while Liam Sonner, Ben Cowie, Jamie Carter, Dan Picknell, Lee Benning and Jack Brown were all on target.
David Lawrence scored the United goal but it was nothing more than a consolation for the visitors.
WSFL Intermediate Cup Round Two
Oxhey Jets Vets got back to winning ways as the second division outfit dumped Division One side Garston Juniors out of the competition after a 6-0 victory.
Top scorer Lewis Putnam returned to form with four goals and Matt Collins and Nick Debenham also netted in the rout.
WSFL Intermediate Cup Quarter-Final
Last season’s beaten finalists Rifle Volunteer moved into the semi-finals after completing a 1-0 win against Bushey Bimecc.
Division Two high-flyers Bushey showed flashes of why they are favourites to win their league but it was the Rifle who controlled the opening period.
In the second period Bimecc again started well but were unable to break through a stubborn Rifle defence.
Andy Lomas was Volunteer’s star performance and he clinched victory for his side with a left-footed drive.
Rifle will take on fellow Division Two side Old Fullerians in the last four.
Premier Division
Oakview strengthened their grip in second place as they overcame Hammer, who are now six points behind in third, 3-0.
Lee Armitt completed a double and Lee Inch helped seal victory.
Bushey are comfortably clear at the top of the table and they secured a 5-2 win against Gadeside Rangers.
Jaime Brown netted a hat-trick, while Joe Pizans and Dave Rooney also netted.
Rangers’ goals were scored by Ashley Harewood.
Oxhey Estates clinched a 7-3 victory against Wellington Arms in an entertaining contest.
Trafford Nolan struck a treble, while Kevin Dempsey added a brace. Roy Byron and Sam Lloyd were also on target.
Bottom-of-the-league FC Crescent were well beaten at home by Croxley Green Community Centre 7-0.
Division One
AFC Spartians' unbeaten record came to an end as they suffered a 2-1 defeat against West Herts.
Roger Lake and Sam Saleh netted for Herts, while Spartians' consolation was scored by Jamie Hunt.
Mill End Sports dropped valuable points when they were held to a 2-2 draw at Langleybury CC.
Louie McNamara and John O'Rourke found the net for Bury, while Glen O’Malley and Craig Brownsell got the Mill End goals.
Green Dragon are still without a point after they lost 5-0 to CK Guild.
Craig Garrett and Aaron Farrell shared four goals and Gary Hocking completed the victory.
Division Two
Old Fullerians moved back into top spot as they secured a 2-0 win at end Sun Sports Sports.
Goals from Ben Williams and James Sandford saw Fullers to victory.
Victoria defeated Hammer Reserves 4-1 thanks to a brace from Joe Cheshire and singles from Michael Cheshire and Jamie Beaumont.
Jack Bishop replied for Hammer.
Wellington Arms Reserves were also victorious as they beat Dome Bar Area 2-0.
Division Three
Top-of-the-table Shenley Wood were surprisingly defeated 2-1 at home to The Pavillion.
Ashley Armstrong scored for Pavillion but it was cancelled out by a double from Jamie Hazel.
AFC Oddfellows recorded a 4-0 victory against Sun Postal United.
Connor Flanagan continued his recent scoring run with a great hat-trick and Mick Wherle was also on target.
In a tight game, Hertsmere (Sunday) secured a 2-0 win away to Railway Arms.
James Haighs and Tokie Oougbesan were both on the scoresheet.
Division Four
There was little change at the top of the table as four of the top five sides all completed wins.
Leaders Oxhey Lions dominated their match against West Herts Reserves and eased to a 6-0 victory.
Ben Woodman completed a double, while Joe Shepherd, Mark Graham, Jamie Bowen and Ollie Brinton also found the net.
Racing Santandome beat bottom side AFC Bushey Reserves 3-1, with Robert Walter, Dean McKane and Martin Regan all on target.
Third-placed Rickmansworth Rovers hammered struggling Carpenders Park Rangers 7-3.
A hat-trick from Harry Wallace was added to by doubles from B Adams and Sean Cabey.
Carpenders pulled goals back through George Mole and Andy Milner but it wasn’t enough.
Rickmansworth Athletic defeated Green Dragon Reserves 3-2 in a close encounter.
Simon Lee bagged a brace but Jordan Allen, Lewis Walker and Chris Agger netted for Dragon.
Gadeside Rangers Reserves beat West Watford 4-3 with goals from Joao Ribiero, Harry Lock, Richard Reid and Rakeim Blaze.
