A first defeat of the season proved costly for Garston Ladies Under-10s as they were knocked out of the County Cup at the semi-final stage after a 2-0 loss against King George.
However, the side can avenge the defeat this weekend when they face the same opposition in the League Cup semi-final.
The Under-11 Mets were held to a 1-1 draw in the first match of their double header with Bedwell Rangers. Libby Poster was on target for Garston.
In the second game, a Raaya Thanki header helped the Mets secure a 1-0 win.
There was a 4-0 defeat for the Under-11 Diamonds against Welwyn Pegasus and the Under-12s, despite a Yasmin Sabri strike, were beaten 3-1 by Bishops Stortford.
A goal from Abby Mason wasn’t enough for the Under-13s, who lost 3-1 against Met Police.
The Under-15 Sharks claimed an 8-1 win against Hemel Hempstead.
Jade Roberts grabbed a hat-trick, while a double from Leach Crocket, an own goal and singles from Hannah Burt and Harriet Woods completed the rout.
Late goals in each half from Bury Rangers saw the Under-15 Diamonds beaten 2-0, while the Under-15 Mets won their friendly against Hitchin Belles 8-0. Olivia Thomson (4), Rachel Rabin (2), Clarisse Patel and Lauren Berryman all found the net.
The Under-18s claimed a 4-2 win against Bedwell Rangers. A brace from Dani Freeman was added to by goals from Chloe Shimmel and Lily Commins.
