AUDIO: Blackpool boss Paul Ince talks about Watford, their fans and the Hornets' diving problem
3:00pm Sunday 10th March 2013 in Sport
Pictures: Action Images
Paul Ince didn’t hold back in his post-match press conference. The Blackpool boss admitted he was “sick of people ramming it down my throat how good Watford are”. He also talked about his goading of the Vicarage Road crowd, who he claimed were “whinging and moaning”, and claimed the influx of foreign players at Watford has led to diving.
Ince believed the Hornets’ goal should have been disallowed for two reasons and described referee Andrew Madley’s performance as “brave”.
The former England international did praise Watford though. He said the Gianfranco Zola’s side play football the right way, are a good team and added that he hopes they do well.
You can listen to a large part of Ince’s post-match press conference below.

What?? He bottled every decision he had to make, even the most obvious of penalty calls. Ince proves himself a naff brainless manager once more...

Who dived yesterday? Fessi was a def foul.
Easy stereotyping by Ince who blames our foreign players ( eh? they have been around other clubs or a while) for diving yet praises their football.
Strange.

His poor team came away with all 3 points and the little love note to the ref before the game paid off.
Nothing remarkable about this interview. He's always been a dullard with a chip on his shoulder.

What contradictory twaddle. We have got to be the most passive crowd of the lot (sadly)

It was biased but obviously for the NW press/TV. Not a lot in that to get too aeriated about in my opinion. GFZ's interviews are so much more balanced even when it is for local consumption..

I can get my head round the arrogance of Paul Ince he has only won one game of football........... and was snubbed for months until Oysten was desperate.
Changing subject i am not normally into conspiracy theories.......... but the pre match attacks on our team by managers, like ince and holloway, seems to be having an impact on the way referees officiate our games........ i think its right that Zola hits back as we cant roll over...... the language used is nothing short of libelous and our management cant lie down and take some obviously defammatary comments!! Afterall no rules have been broken, its disgusting really. Some big cames coming up, looking forward to Barnsley......come on the horns!!!!

Paul Ince should be done by FA for what he did at the end. He was incting the watford crowd. WE don't windge but we do let the Ref know when he is wrong. We should have one that game, ref was really poor and the penatlys should have had the guts to give those. Instead he allowed Blackpool to get away with it. We felt he was in blackpools pocket, he gave so little to watford. Hoe do you overturn a refs opinion on diving when F got his leg stamped on, he did not dive.

I know that it's not the Pozzo way to comment on things in the press (rather preferring to spend their time sorting out Deeney's contract, for example... I wouldn't argue with that) but I wouldn't mind one of them coming out and saying "we signed all of these guys on loan because the former crook of an owner - who passed the Football League's fit and proper person test with flying colours - tried to block the takeover (perhaps to give himself time to cover up some of his dodgy dealings) and there simply wasn't time to get permanent contracts sorted out once it finally went through. We've not broken any rules, we don't care if they change because it was a one-off, and the likes of Paul Ince need to concentrate on rescuing their own under-achieving sides before they start concerning themselves with what others are doing!"
Maybe he should stop whinging about not getting managerial jobs because of his skin colour, and consider that maybe he's not getting managerial jobs because Gianfranco Zola has got more humility, maturity and focus in his little finger than Ince has ever had.

The Watford philosophy is really very simple.......lets loan the entire reserve team from Udinese and play in England. I suppose some of the earlier posts are correct, you are hated and closer to Luton than the rest of us.....Lol.
Also loan the entire reserve team? We had one player starting the match who was on loan from Udinese. At least find a factual insult if you are trying to wind us up... 'Lol'.
You were right about one thing. Despite making you look like non-league players first half, we were naff in the second and taking away all the penalties that we should have had, you deserved at least a point.
Luckily we have no worries for the rest of the season, we are far exceeding our top half finish target. Can't say the same for you though. No wonder you come on other peoples forums; must distract you from constantly looking over your shoulder. An injury to Ince and League 1 it is. Bye bye.
