Club have done well with their initiatives this season. Some of the armchair fans need to get on down to the vic and cheer the boys on the homward stretch.
Zola's doing his best to move us forward, we need to do our bit too. Rcent attendances have been disappointing.

Excluding Family Days, attendences have hardly shifted from the dog-days of last season to the champagne, winning football of this.
These adult-orientated discount schemes are clearly not working.

It seems the only way we'll get regular 15k+ crowds is promotion to the Prem, when our 'plastics' will quickly return.

I work with several season ticket holders of other clubs. They are amazed how cheap our season tickets are. Even excluding the Arsenals and Chelseas - Watford about half the price of QPR and cheaper than Midlands clubs like Nottingham Forest.

...and the 'product' on the pitch is now comparable to the bigger London clubs. What we don't have is the modern stadium with good facilities that most of our potential fans expect these days. I'm hopeful that the Health Campus project will improve transport & parking, and generally improve the West Watford area. Coupled with stadium redevelopment, the whole 'experience' will be upgraded and the non-hardcore supporters will start coming...or not!

Maybe Denzil, like a few of my mates, some fans have lost their jobs or haven't had a pay rise over the last few years. We were getting more under Boothroyd's charge for the Premiership. It's all down to money as every Watford fan knows we're playing some of the best football. I spend £20 on petrol, £5 parking, so that makes £50 without bringing the kids or having a drink. Can't do that every week, nor most of my mates. Would I pay for a season ticket if we went up into the Premiership...sad to say I couldn't afford it. Guess that makes me a 'plastic' plastic. I'm afraid like alot fans I'll have to pick through the fixture list. Kinda hoping we go straight up, as it'll cost £100 for play offs and final. I'l be trying to make Cardiff, Burnley,Leeds and maybe Leicester. It's tough out there, so go easy on some of the stay away fans, we'd love to watch the great football we're playing every week.

Been trying to get to as many games as i can, I live around 160 miles away from Watford now. These price drops have been very good for me this season, and added to the fact the the team has been playing some really nice football, this season has been great.

I have to applaud the Pozzo's, Riva, Nani, Duxbury and Zola. They have done wonders with the club, fans and players this season so far, We've seen more of them than we ever did Baz.

Hopefully more of the same for the upcoming seasons!

I wasn't referring to real fans like you with some financial difficulties (of which i have several mates too). But you can be sure if we get to Wembley for a play-off final there will be 40,000 Watford 'fans' with scarves (of various vintages) attending their first game of the season. We need some of them to get along for the remaining home games.

By the way, if you want to bring your kids, these early-bird season tickets are great value for 19 or 23 family outings.

I doubt if you will find 40000 for Wembley as we didn't take our full allocation to the last final!!!
