Golfers from the European and Challenge Tours were joined by fomer Premier League footballers Jamie Redknapp and Andriy Shevchenko to compete at the Jamie & Friends Charity Pro Am at The Grove.

The event, held on Friday of last week, was organised by Rickmansworth-based professional Jamie Little, with the money raised going to the On Course Foundation.

The foundation provides long-term benefits for wounded, injured or sick servicemen, women and veterans through golf skills and employment training events.

Former European Ryder Cup team member Ronan Rafferty was victorious at the event as he shot four under par.

Sam Little and Raymond Russell tied for second with three under par, while Jamie Little, Adam Gee, Jamie Moul and Lloyd Kennedy were one shot back on two under par.

A total of 31 teams competed at the event and more than £3,500 was raised for the On Course Foundation.
