Garston Ladies reach three League Cup finals

It was another successful weekend for Garston Ladies with three of their sides making it through to League Cup finals.

The Under-10s completed a 3-1 win over King George thanks to two goals from Nicole Zermani and one from Paige Andrews. They face Harvesters in the final in May.

A 19th victory of the season saw the Under-11 Mets through to their final as they defeated St Albans City 5-0.

Abbie Lafayette grabbed a brace, while goals from Libby Poster, Lauren Nolan-Coggon and Megan Allaway rounded off the scoring.

The Under-18s made it through their semi-final after they won 4-2 against Hampstead.

Lizzie Smith and Chloe Shimmel put Garston ahead at the break before strikes from Lily Commins and Laura Sheed extended the advantage.

Hampstead netted twice late on but they were nothing more than consolations.

The Under-11s were beaten 1-0 at Knebworth, while the Under-13s lost 2-0 and then drew 1-1 in their double header with Bury Rangers.

A goal from Emma Trill helped the Garston senior side record a win over Ashford Town.
