Gianfranco Zola says he would like to share his February Championship Manager of the month award with his assistant head coaches Giancarlo Corradini and Dodo Sormani and his players.

The Hornets were unbeaten last month; winning four games and drawing against promotion-rivals Crystal Palace.

It is Zola’s first individual award in management and the Italian said: “It is very nice and I appreciate it. Ideally I would like to share it with my assistants and the players.

“I got it thanks to them. They appreciate it but it will now be back to business.”

The winner of the award was decided by former Charlton Athletic boss Alan Curbishley, Football League chief operating officer Andy Williamson, League Managers Association deputy CEO Olaf Dixon and Katy Thomas, npower's partnerships and sponsorships manager.

3 points are a must tomorrow, no slip ups as its getting tight up there.

We will miss Almunia badly as that experience is vital in close games,
Bond ok but very much one for the future, no droppsy at Barnsley!

Well worthy of it. Congratulations. No need for superstitious mumbo jumbo curse talk. A man of Zola's quality won't let a little accolade throw him off course. Onwards and upwards

No charge for his "12 men" comment following the Blackpool game? The FA/FL must have agreed with him!

Well done FZ and the team. Hollowhead (great name tag) is only moaning AGAIN beacuse his loanee KV scored a hatrick and his other Man U loanee set him up twice. Talk about a loan system he is the guy who sells a player that is so important they wont let him leave. What a total d***head

Well as Zola does the unexpected all the time expect us to go on a winning run now he has won the award instead of the norm that has beset other Watford managers when they have won this award in the past. COYH!!!!”
