Watford's on-loan midfielder Ross Jenkins scored for Barnet with a superb overhead kick to claim his second goal of the season.

Jenkins' acrobatic effort on his second appearance for the Bees could not however prevent his side losing 3-2 to Acrrington Stanley in League Two.

Craig Forsyth played his fourth successive match for Derby County and registered his first win for the club as the Rams beat Leicester 2-1 at home in the Championship.

Britt Assombalonga played a full game but was unable to find the net as Southend United were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw with Torquay United.

Stephen McGinn came off the bench in the 63rd minute for Shrewsbury Town who drew 1-1 away to Crewe Alexandra.

Steve Leo Beleck was thrown into the action with 15 minutes remaining in Stevenage Borough's resounding 4-0 win over Sheffield United.

Chris Iwelumo was missing from Oldham’s 1-0 defeat to Bournemouth through injury while Lee Hodson didn't feature in Brentford's 1-0 win at home to Preston.

Interesting that Craig Forsyth is getting plenty of first team football with Derby.

I'm glad Ross Jenkins is doing well.
Not good enough for us but seems a decent bloke and I would like him to make it somewhere else.

Great pity about McGinn, if he can't get into Shrewsbury's team every week looks like he isn't going to be the player he was becoming before his injury.
