Watford car specialist to work with Hornets legend Luther Blissett in Alfa Romeo championship

Watford based Italian car specialist ProAlfa will be working with Team48 and Hornets legend Luther Blissett in the preparation of engines for this year's Alfa Romeo championship.

Team48 are a GT and sports car racing team from Buckinghamshire. They will be running two cars in the series, one of which is the only diesel Alfa in the championship.

The car, a 1.9 litre turbo diesel Alfa GT, will be driven by Darrelle Wilson. His team mate is former Watford striker Blissett who is entered in a more traditional 2.0 litre petrol engine Alfa 156 saloon.

ProAlfa will be primarily working on the engine mapping of the diesel, where significant gains are expected. The petrol engine is being 'blueprinted' to championship regulations and also expected to be competitive.
