Serbian defender takes to Twitter to reveal potential Watford link (From Watford Observer)

So the Wobby has to resort to twitter rumours for Watford FC news.

Could do with some decent interviews in these exciting times and not just regurgitation of what comes off the official Watford FC website.

Don't see why they can't sign him regardless of the so called "transfer embargo" which, of course, isn't an embargo at all. Good that it would have to be on loan and not permanent so to wind up Hollowhead even more.

BUT, he seems a bit of a "has been" or perhaps a "never was" if he can't hold down a job anywhere - and to have been banished to a football backwater such as the States is also a bit disconcerting. Still, far be it from me to pre-judge....

Can't see this one coming off - bit of player 'self hype' by the look of it.

Where have you been for the last few years? Twitter has become a major source for journalists - whether that be local or national press - so give the guys a break.

Plus, he isn't reporting on a rumour, is he. I haven't gone on Twitter and said, "Watford are possibly signing so and so," this has come directly from the player himself.

Journalists have a decision to make whether things like this are in the public's interest - and on this occasion, it is.

Your judgement of Bassini after he gave an interview to the WO last February was spot on so I for one am happy for you to pre-judge on this.

That's fine, and in generations to come I'm sure Bosnians, Serbs, Croats, Kosovans, Montenegrins, Albanians etc will all be able to live with each other and forgive each other, but at the moment it's people who are directly involved, and moreover people who were children at the time that probably saw horrific scenes.

Forestieri probably doesn't even know what the Falklands is, let alone care.

Don't underestimate the feelings still held between most of the different Balkan ethnic groups, especially as it's all being dug up again at the moment in the ICTY.

I did a google search on Bassini and came across a forum thread from Feb. '12. There's a regular poster on here who slated people that questioned Bassini's integrity.

That's fine, and in generations to come I'm sure Bosnians, Serbs, Croats, Kosovans, Montenegrins, Albanians etc will all be able to live with each other and forgive each other, but at the moment it's people who are directly involved, and moreover people who were children at the time that probably saw horrific scenes. Exactly, you only have to see the recent altercation between Kolarov (Serb) and some fans with an Albania flag at Newcastle to see that this is still a huge issue.

Unlike the Falklands it's still going on - only yesterday the EU were mediating talks between the two about security and life in the Serb north of Kosovo.

I did a google search on Bassini and came across a forum thread from Feb. '12. There's a regular poster on here who slated people that questioned Bassini's integrity.

I hope everything Bas says is true, and his connections with Philip Green and the orthopaedic surgeon Pantyhose is for real, and we have a shiny new sand with hotels, hospitals, conference centres ( te new empire state is coming east side soon). But all I see at the moment is the same I've seen for a couple of years now, nothing new or tangible.
I really can't see why any business man would turn down ten million for a minority stake, strange if true.
One thing I do agree with is that Sean Dyche has done a great job, but at the same time know if he pushes us to the play offs or there abouts, Sean will be snapped up by a bigger club.
But as with Dyche if proved wrong I will eat my many regurgitatable hats and say I was wrong.

I think Abdi would raise objection if he really had a case. Plenty of Irish players played in England while it was still going on over there. Rarely are individuals representative of their Governments and most sane people realise that.

I just think Frank is a young reporter who does his level best. I've seen people pick his grammar apart, he's criticised for reporting news and then for not reporting it.
