Watford striker Troy Deeney has been nominated for the Championship Player of the Month Award for August.
Deeney scored five goals in five games, including his first hat-trick of his career in the Hornets' 6-1 win over Bournemouth.
The 25-year-old's second goal in the rout came from a rasping shot at the end of an impressive driving run.
Deeney is up against Clint Hill of Queen's Park Rangers, Andy Reid of Nottingham Forest and James Vaughan of Huddersfield Town.
The winner will be announced tomorrow.
