Bushey Sports Club lose 3-2 to Senior Premier Division leaders Whitwell in the Herts Senior County League

Bushey Sports Club were on the wrong end of a five-goal thriller in the Herts Senior County League on Saturday as they lost 3-2 to Senior Premier Division leaders Whitwell.
Bushey’s goals came from Jack Brown and Rob Courtnage but Shaun Turner’s double and another from Liam Brooks clinched victory for Whitwell.
Bovingdon are the only team without a point in the division after losing 3-2 against Standon and Puckeridge.
Chris Babbage netted twice and James Endacott added the other goal for Standon.
Belstone drew 3-3 at home to Sarratt, who remain unbeaten in the league.
Chris Ingham, Darren Butler and Jamie Arthur all scored for the hosts, with Robbie Marton, Jack Lupton and Sunnie Cresswell netting for Sarratt.
Bedmond Sports & Social Club were on the end of a 3-1 home defeat at the hands of Bush Hill Rangers.
Jack Robertson had given Bedmond a half-time lead but a brace from Mustafa Elazwzi and another goal from Tashan Richmond saw the visitors home and dry.
There was an avalanche of goals at Letchworth Garden City Eagles where the home side beat Mill End Sports 4-3.
The hosts eventually clinched the three points despite a valiant fightback from Sports.
Eagles’ scorers were James Platt, Sam Gittings, Ricardo Small and Carl Williams while Mill End responded through Billy Hanley, Meyrick Cook and Andy Pryor.
Chipperfield Corinthians held off a late Wormley Rovers onslaught to win 2-1.
Adrian Abramian and Charlie Hurlock set Chipperfield on their way with two first-half goals before Lee Archibald reduced the arrears.
Bushey Rangers racked up another big win in Senior Division One, beating Codicote Sports 7-3. Goal-machine Ricardo Faux-James bagged four of his team’s goals with Myles Lake adding to a Chris Dunn brace to complete the scoring.
Kieron Matham claimed two of the Cod’s goals and Scott Patman also found the net.
A ruthless second-half display secured Evergreen a 4-1 win over Welwyn Garden City.
Chris Blunden scored twice with Krasimir Makaveev and Charlie Webster also on target as the Green stay in second place.
A Ben Parkes goal was not enough to save Old Parmiterians from a 2-1 defeat at home to Lemsford.
