Watford defender Nyron Nosworthy returns to training and Tommie Hoban due back next month
Watford defender Nyron Nosworthy is back training at London Colney following a summer of rehabilitation work at the Isokinetic Clinic.
Nosworthy ruptured his Achilles while away on international duty with Jamaica in March and has since been working towards regaining full fitness.
The 32-year-old spent the summer alongside fellow defensive partner Tommie Hoban doing intensive work at the clinic in Westmister.
Marco Cesarini, the club’s head of medical, confirmed that Hoban would be given more time to fully recover but will should be back at London Colney by the beginning of the month.
“Both Nyron and Tommie have been working very hard,” Cesarini told the club’s website.
“We welcomed back Nyron back to the training ground today and now he will do some conditioning work before joining up with the rest of the squad in a few weeks’ time. This is good news for us.
“Tommie will stay with The Isokinetic Clinic until October 1 and will then return to our training ground.”
