Five members of Watford Joggers tackled the Great North Run

Five members of Watford Joggers competed on Sunday alongside 41,000 other athletes at the Great North Run on Tyneside.
Sarah Sharman clocked an impressive personal best, running the half marathon in 1.53.11 with club-mates Roz Fullylove and Nick Slade both coming in with a time of 2.13.25.
Rachel Tannian and Margot Sharman finished shortly afterwards with times of 2.16.05 and 2.20.06 respectively.
Elsewhere, six other members of the jogging team took part in the inaugural Ickenham five mile road race with Mark Studdart leading the way in 28th place in a time of 32.34.
Katerina Fellas ran a personal best time of 42.56 while James Kavanagh made his debut running 38.09.
Marcus Edwards, Naomi Prasad, Pantos Fellas and Angela Edwards also raced, finishing in 33.17, 34.35, 39.34 and 48.57 respectively.
Meanwhile, Kelvin O’Shea competed in the London Duathlon, which included a 10k run, 22k cycle and a final 5k run, and finished in a time of 2.37.00.
