Garston Ladies Under-16 Mets maintained their 100 per cent start to the season as they defeated St Josephs 4-0.
A brace from Natalie Powell and a goal apiece from Olivia Thomson and Cassandra Chase set up the win.
Elsewhere, the Under-16 Diamonds took Bedwell Rangers Dragons.
A Hollie Chambers goal just before half time was the Diamonds’ only consolation in a 5-1 defeat. It was a better day for the Under-16 Sharks as a Jade Roberts hat-trick and a Leah Crocket strike helped the girls to a 4-1 win over Barnet Azzurri Dolphins – a win which lifts the Sharks into second place in the table.
The Under-14s found the going tough as they welcomed Bury Rangers to the Met Police Club and lost 4-0 after conceding two goals in each half.
The Under-13s travelled the short distance to Abbots Langley to take on local rivals Evergreen but despite taking the lead through an early Yasmin Sabri strike, they ended up on the wrong end of a 4-1 scoreline.
In the Under-12 age group, the Mets made it three wins out of three this season, brushing Denham United aside with an accomplished performance.
Abby Reith, Nicole Brimble, Katie Edmunds, Megan Allaway and Mia Ford all found the back of the net to set up a 5-0 win.
The Under-12 Diamonds came up against a strong Bishops Stortford outfit and were unable to cope with the east Hertfordshire side’s passing game, eventually going down to a 7-0 defeat. Garston Ladies Under-11 Diamonds fell at the first hurdle in the County Cup as they slumped to a heavy defeat at the hands of Harvesters.
The Diamonds found themselves 5-0 down at half-time but kept battling and despite a much-improved second-half performance, featuring a Sharday Constable goal, they lost 6-1.
