Chorleywood Cricket Club's touring side enjoyed mixed fortunes on their trip to Spain where they took on Mallorca Cricket Club.
Wood’s first game on Saturday was a tense contest and they were eventually beaten by four wickets.
Neil Ret held Wood’s batting together as he impressed with a stylish 92. Will Pendred (44) was the only other batsman to pass 20 as the tourists posted 217 for eight.
Jonathan Rice gave Wood some hope with the ball as he picked up three quick wickets.
But the home side recovered and completed their run chase with five overs in hand.
A much-improved performance 24 hours later helped Wood record a convincing 207-run win.
After a sluggish start, Jonathan Rice and James Malinowski upped the pace and both hit centuries before retiring to allow their colleagues the chance to bat. Jeremy Hinds added a quick-fire 50 as Wood scored 287 for three.
Wood then showed their bowling strength as they shared the wickets around their attack and blew Mallorca away, dismissing the hosts for 70.
