Tring Athletic were knocked out of the Dudley Latham Memorial Cup after losing to St Margaretsbury

Tring Athletic exited the Dudley Latham Memorial Cup after suffering a 3-2 defeat to St Margaretsbury on Tuesday.
Tring fell behind when Ed Taylor struck but the home side equalised as Vinnie Iannone turned home a cross from full-back George Tomlin.
Athletic went into the interval ahead as Trevor Gibbs was tripped in the penalty area and a spot-kick was awarded. Captain Graham Hall stepped up from 12 yards and fired his side ahead.
Margaretsbury pulled level six minutes after the restart when Ryan Wade equalised and the winning goal came when Ricky Light smashed a shot from 35 yards into the roof of the net.
In Premier Division action on Saturday, Tring drew 2-2 with Holmer Green thanks to goals from Ryan Sturgess, an own goal and a 95th-minute equaliser from Tony Fields.
