Luther Blissett scored a hat-trick on his full England debut as Luxembourg were demolished 9-0 in a European Championship qualifier at Wembley, becoming the first black player to score for England in the process.
Blissett also played a key role in England's opener, credited as an own goal, and had another disallowed but was destined not to score again in 12 further international outings.
