Little Hay Golf Club’s senior men battled the elements during the December Stableford competition but an impressive score from Fred Evans saw him clinch first place.
Evans ended with 39 points while Bob Bussey had to settle for second with 38 points. The top three was rounded off by Chris Jarman who ended on 37.
The Little Hay Winter league third round was played on Sunday with 16 pairs of players on the course. A score of 48 points from Dave Smith and Paul Williams saw them take two point lead over Jim Wallace and Chris Miles.
