Kings Langley Ladies lose 6-1 to Arlesey Town in Beds & Herts County Girls’ and Women’s League Division Two

Kings Langley Ladies were beaten 6-1 by Arlesey Town Ladies in Division Two of the Beds & Herts County Girls’ and Women’s League on Sunday.
Kings’ winless streak continued after a lacklustre first half saw the visitors race into a three-goal lead in the opening 15 minutes.
Kim Nield’s sweetly-struck free-kick reduced the arrears on 32 minutes but Arlesey scored from the spot after Jade North had been ajudged to have conceded a penalty after a collision with the striker.
Kings went into the second half with a reorganised defence but they could not get the ball into the back of the net. The visitors scored twice more and could have had a third but North saved a penalty after April Langton had fouled.
Next up for Kings in their quest for a first league victory of the season is a home match with Sandy Ladies on Sunday.
