Pictured above is new Watford head coach Giuseppe Sannino with his team of staff.

From left to right they are: Alfredo Sebastiani, Francesco Troise, Sannino, Giovanni Cusatis and Paolo De Toffol.

Alberto Sebastiani was a youth team coach at FC Sudtirol, who play in Lega Pro.

The 48-year-old worked for FC Sudtirol for 16 years and is a club legend having helped the side secure promotion during the 2009/10 season whilst head coach.

He worked with Sannino between 1999 and 2001 and has a reputation for nurturing young talent.

Little is known about Francesco Troise as he has worked mostly in Italy’s amateur leagues, including a spell in charge of non-league side Torrecuso.

In the the summer however Troise had a meteoric rise to join Sannino’s coaching staff at Serie A side Chievo.

Giovanni Cusatis played for nine different clubs in Italy - mostly in the third and fourth tiers.

He was a midfielder and enjoyed his most successful spells at Teramo, Siracusa and Legnano, where he also worked as a coach under Attilio Lombardo, who went on to coach at Manchester City.

The 46-year-old has since coached at several lower-league Italian teams, including a spell in charge of third tier side Pro Patria, of the Lega Pro, and Lega Pro second division team Alessandria.

Paolo De Toffol, 52, is a goalkeeper coach who played at a number of Italian clubs including Monza, Padova and Catanzaro in Serie B.

As well as Chievo, De Toffol also has experience working in Serie A with Treviso and most recently Cagliari.

Below is a glimpse of Sannino's first day of training with the Hornets players at London Colney, released by the club's official Youtube channel.

Not much coaching going on. I think one of them spoke at one point but can't be sure. At least language won't be a problem.

Bobby Howfield! You must be as old as me! I believe he was the player most likely to get sent off back in those halcyon days. Went to America to be an NFL kicker as I recall.

Is the chap on the golf buggy the top man, Mr Pozzo? If so surely him making the effort to attend a training session shows intent?

Sannino is sure to be a big hit with the watford ladies who will clamber to polish his bald head.

The first few training sessions will simply be an evaluation process, hopefully they see what they like and plan a winning run to get us back in the hunt. The playoffs are still within grasp with a good turn in form and the top two are still in grasp with an excellent run. Think positive all and back the new set up, all is not lost yet!!

I am honestly trying to think positive and although I do not think all is lost I do think it might be a bit of a struggle.
